The Central Scholarship and Loan Referral Service (CSLRS) of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh coordinates the efforts of a group of organizations, agencies and scholarship endowment funds which provide scholarships to local Jewish students enrolled in an accredited institution of higher education.

The Vaad Horabanim of Pittsburgh is happy to announce that we have arranged a special run of Chalav Stam Milk produced and bottled by Turners and certified by the Vaad for Pesach.  This special run of milk will be available exclusively at Murray Avenue Kosher beginning Tuesday, April 2nd.  No other Turners Milk is certified by the Vaad, only the milk that is available at Murray Avenue Kosher.  Therefore, Murray Avenue Kosher will have both Chalav Yisroel and Chalav Stam available certified Kosher for Pesach.

We emphasize again that only the Turner’s milk sold at Murray Avenue Kosher next week and during Chol Hamoed is certified Kosher for Pesach (Chalav Stam).  The Vaad wishes to thank Mickey Kohanbash of Bete’Avon Kosher Dining Services and Lila Weiss and Saul Markovic of Murray Avenue Kosher for their partnership and assistance in this endeavor.
