Melava Malka
On Saturday night, February 16, 2013, the Kollel Jewish Learning Center
will hold its Annual Melava Malka Dinner, celebrating over thirty years as a
cornerstone of Torah scholarship, nurturing the heart and soul of
Pittsburgh’s Jewish community.
This year we are pleased to honor Dr. Dean and Mrs. Chaya Pollack with the
Rabbi Shaul Kagan Legacy Award, for their lifetime of service and dedication
to the Pittsburgh Jewish community. This year the dinner is dedicated to the
memory of Allan Goodkind, z”l commemorating his love of Torah and his
service to the community.
These special individuals have recognized and supported the unique role
that the Kollel Jewish Learning Center plays in making Torah knowledge
accessible to everyone in our community, connecting us with each other,
and providing many avenues for engaging in lifelong Torah learning.
To commemorate this occasion, we are also designing a gala Tribute Journal.
We invite you to showcase your personal or business ad in this elegant
publication, which will go out to the nearly 350 attendees expected to attend
at our Annual Melava Malka Dinner. By placing your tax-deductible ad in
our Tribute Journal, you will have a direct impact on the continued success
and growth of Kollel educational programs.
Please contact Stacie Stufflebeam, Special Events Director, to place your ad:
